DTN COMMENTS:  All remains quiet in feeding cattle country at midday, 
with bids and asking prices not fully established. Significant trade 
volume may be delayed until Wednesday or later. A handful of trade was 
reported in several areas yesterday, but certainly not enough to 
establish any kind of an accurate trend for the week. 

Beef cutouts are higher at midday with light to moderate box movement 
(38.45 lds of choice cuts, 3.98 lds of select cuts, 0.00 lds of trim, and 
16.03 lds of ground).  Cattle futures near the top of the noon hour are 
sharply higher on both live and feeder cattle futures.
