Online Sheep and Goat Auctions

Through our online auction service, Equity offers producers a competitive and unique price discovery system for all classes of sheep and goats. Lots are marketed directly off the farm or ranch, reducing producer freight and handling cost. This auction is offered once a week on Thursdays at 10:30am CST. Buyers from both commercial and non-traditional markets participate through an anonymous, real-time bidding system. Equity offers sheep and goat producers a nationwide market presence and guarantees producers payment with a bonded check.

Interested buyers must first register for the online auction to view the sale. Serious first time buyers must fill out a buyer application form and be approved prior to the sale to place bids during the sale.

Equity also provides order buying services, lamb pool marketing, forward contracting of lambs, private treaty sales, and feeder financing for qualified producers.

Online Cattle Auctions via CattleUSA

Sales at our Altoona, Monroe, Stratford, and Waukon markets are available live on CattleUSA. Pre-registration on the CattleUSA website is required as it takes time for buyer applications to be approved.

Instructions to set up a bidding account for CattleUSA:
1. Go to www.cattleusa.com
2. Create a username and password
3. Find the Equity market you plan to buy through and submit the buyer approval form on their website.
4. If you do not have prior credit history through Equity, please fill out the buyer application form provided below. Once completed, you can fax it to 608-356-0117. With questions, please contact your local Equity market office.
